A really nice apartment with good amenities. It would benefit from a more thorough clean, like vacuuming behind the box spring bed. I wasn't able to get in until 4 pm, even though check-in is meant to start at 3 pm. It would also help to mark which parking space belongs to each apartment. Apart from that, everything was great.

The service was more than adequate, and everyone was super friendly. The apartment itself was a letdown compared with its location. The house is noisy, the floor slopes steeply, and it feels like it was converted into holiday rentals after the fact. The kitchen isn't set up well for cooking, and the bed creaks so much that restful sleep is impossible. It's near the beach and a little outside the center, which is a real plus because it's less crowded.

The house is in a lovely, quiet setting with well-kept grounds and parking. The beach is about a 5-minute walk away, and Edeka and Rossmann are close by. There's enough space outside that a little seating area or even a bench for people in the attic apartment would be very welcome. Inside, though, basic hygiene needs attention. The shower was very dirty and mold was beginning to grow in places. The bathroom fittings, including the mirror cabinet, toilet paper holder and faucet, were loose and calcified. The living room was dusty, with loose baseboards, a damaged lampshade, cobwebs everywhere, and dirty, damaged wallpaper. They charge a cleaning fee, but changing the sheets and mopping the floor isn't enough. The apartment wasn't clean and needs a proper deep clean. We were also kept waiting: check-in was promised from 3 pm, but the cleaning staff didn't arrive until 2 pm and we couldn't get in until 4 pm. Guests are expected to check out by 10 am, so this needs fixing. The furnishings themselves were adequate, but the booking process didn't tell us which apartment or amenities we'd get. Booking.com could make that clearer. If we'd known, we'd have chosen another apartment, even at a different price. The COVID-19 guidelines folder needs updating too. The caretaker gave us crumpled, dirty visitor cards and evaluation forms. They seem like small details, but they matter.

The apartment itself was lovely, but it hadn't been cleaned well, even though we paid €50 for final cleaning. The sink plug was black 😣 and there were cobwebs on the lamp. The cleaning staff came into the building without masks, while we were wearing ours and masks were required in enclosed spaces. It's a shame, but we won't stay here again.
