Haus Regina

Out back, the view is all greenery, with cows and calves. The place itself is quiet, yet it’s an easy walk to town, the beach, or Edeka. Very clean, and the welcome was really friendly.

There was plenty of room for clothes, thanks to the big wardrobe and all its hangers, and the adjustable bed frames were useful. The apartment was practical rather than fancy, with a cozy seating area, TV with lots of channels, and a little dining table with three chairs. The bathroom had a large shower. In the kitchen, we had a fridge with freezer compartment, stove, oven, sink, dishes, and cutlery. Breakfast was no problem, though some utensils were missing for more involved cooking. On the balcony were three basic stacking chairs.

For a budget traveler, a Regina apartment is a good fit. We stayed there last year and were very happy with it. It was clean and comfortable, with a small kitchenette that had a stove, oven, and microwave, pretty much what you need for a relaxing holiday.

We liked how close everything was: the beach was about 300 meters away, and Edeka was roughly the same distance. Our garden bungalow at Haus Regina was clean and had what we needed, and the owners were helpful and polite. Getting in and leaving were both straightforward. The only little hassles were waiting quite a while for the booking confirmation and the Wi-Fi being a bit weak, especially in the evenings. I can understand that, with several devices often using the internet these days. We stayed from mid to late July and had a wonderful time.
