Hotel Parkfrieden

Really good.

We had a lovely stay, and the free parking was a welcome bonus. This is a small, modest-looking family hotel in a prime spot in Timmendorf. It looks a little old-fashioned at first, though the rooms are being gradually and nicely updated. We were lucky to have a view of the pier. Our room was quiet and roomy, with plenty of storage and enough power outlets, which isn't always a given. The bathroom had a magnifying mirror but no hairdryer. The hallways have also been renovated. The breakfast room still feels a bit dated, but it's comfortable, and there was a generous spread. They even cook eggs to order. The staff were friendly.

I stayed in the apartment building and it was wonderfully quiet, with a lovely balcony. The peaceful garden is also a great place to unwind, especially over breakfast outside. The decor is a little dated, but everything was very clean and well cared for. The location is fantastic, and for Timmendorf the price was very good. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to come back.

We come with our dog, who is always made to feel welcome. Sitting in the garden with a drink is lovely, especially since it's the only hotel with a garden looking out over the promenade. We were back again in September and had a wonderful time, just as before. The hosts are so friendly and do their best to meet our requests, and breakfast is varied and tasty.
