The harbor is right nearby, and the hotel has direct access to the beach, so the location is hard to beat. Our large room had a comfortable seating area, and the sea-view rooms have stunning views. The bathroom was a decent size, with plenty of room for toiletries in the mirrored cabinet. Guests can also use the terrace.

In my opinion, the price isn’t justified by the amenities, cleanliness, condition of the furnishings, or especially how guests are communicated with. You’re paying for the view, in cash. Without the Baltic Sea, this would just be one of many musty, poorly run, ordinary accommodations, and above all, it wouldn’t be a hotel at all.

The bedrooms in the basement have a damp problem, with mildew stains on the walls. Staff responded right away when we asked them to remove the mildew with alcohol, though taking away the stains probably won’t fix the underlying problem in the long run. That’s a real shame, since the place itself is beautiful. We stayed at the Beach House with two other families. The accommodation is stylish and practical, but we were disappointed by how unclean it was when we arrived. We couldn’t clean it ourselves because there were no cleaning supplies, so we asked the staff to handle it. It was better afterward.

The location by the sea and near the harbor is good, and free private parking and Wi-Fi are included. Still, it’s too expensive for what you get. The room was very dirty, as if it had only been cleaned on the surface, and it’s very small, especially the bathroom. There’s a little sliding door by the toilet, but it’s so cramped you can barely move. The shower and sink are completely open to the room, with no doors.
