The house and garden could use better upkeep, though the owners are new and can't get everything done at once. They also need to teach their young dog not to relieve himself in the garden. On the plus side, the hosts are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are okay. The nearby railway is barely audible, even from the balcony, and guests can use the garden playground and barbecue.

The Nixdorf family are really lovely hosts, and I think and hope I'll return next year. My room, with its own kitchen and bathroom, was much bigger than I'd imagined, absolutely clean, and well maintained. Truly fantastic, everything was perfect! :-)

Everything had just been renovated and was lovingly arranged down to the smallest detail. We felt very comfortable at the Nixdorf guesthouse over Pentecost, staying in the apartment with our little dog. The landlords were very friendly. It was fantastic, and we'd love to come back. The Rother family 😀👍

The sauna couldn't be used, and don't arrive on Saturday evening or you'll be disappointed. The apartment had a good stove and a great wood-burning stove, so bring firewood. The tasteful decor and 3D TV with DVD player were nice too. Mattresses were acceptable, but Wi-Fi kept cutting out. There were lots of sloping ceilings to bump your head on, sharp edges on the bed, and no hand soap. The fridge was set to 0, which I only noticed after the milk had gone curdled.
