We could get to the Baltic Sea easily, and its proximity was fantastic. The manager, Mr. Baumann, was seamless to deal with, and booking from one day to the next was completely stress-free. Apartment no. 5 is on the second floor with no elevator, but it was tidy and clean, and the furnishings were perfectly adequate for a short vacation. The double bed could use much firmer mattresses. Bakery Junge is a two-minute walk away and has very tasty rolls and pastries. Restaurants are generally rather expensive, and there are virtually none directly on the beach. Timmendorfer Strand is beautiful but very quiet. We're 46 and 52, and we missed bistros or pubs for a younger crowd, especially ones open during the day. We'd book Ostseehaus Dreesen again!

From our room's little terrace, we could enjoy the lovely garden in the daytime and evening. The garden leads straight to the beach, and the action in Timmendorfer Strand is only a minute away, yet the place itself stays peaceful. The decor, colors, materials and furnishings were chic and beautifully done, with excellent quality. Everything was there, from the dishes to the household appliances. The owners and every staff member we met were incredibly friendly. We loved our stay, and we're a bit spoiled, actually!

We could park right at the house, store our bicycles, and walk straight from the beautifully kept garden to the beach promenade. The rooms were modern, bright and clean, and the team was very friendly and always available. A lovely place to relax and come back to.
