White Pearl Resort

We’ve stayed with you many times, and it’s always been spotless, even in the dog-friendly apartments. Our poodle loves coming too. The location is fantastic, just a few meters from the beautiful beach, and the service is superb. The rooms are modern, and having a private sauna is a real highlight. This is our go-to place in Timmendorfer Strand, and we’re always happy to return. ☺️

Rest and a lie-in were almost impossible during our stay. The hallways were cleaned around midday, with vacuum cleaners scraping noisily across the floor, and maintenance workers changed filters and batteries in the keyless entry system. They talked loudly about work at reception, loudly enough to be heard in the accommodation, and then continued making loud phone calls. Washing machines and dryers in adjoining utility rooms were run with the doors open, even early in the morning. Emergency exits were kept open with ropes, giving strangers free access to the third floor. Phone reception from 1&1 and Vodafone was unavailable inside, except on the balcony, and Wi-Fi was limited and didn’t reach every room. The place felt like a train station. I can’t recommend this accommodation. The foreign staff seemed to get no guidance or supervision. It felt like all show and no substance.

We were especially impressed by the warm, friendly welcome and the private sauna in the apartment. That combination felt really special and unique. The White Pearl is a beautiful, modern apartment complex, tastefully furnished and right in the heart of Timmendorfer Strand. I can wholeheartedly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back!

We’ve stayed in Urlando’s luxury apartments in Timmendorfer Strand for more than 15 years, often over New Year’s, and until now every visit has been completely satisfactory. This time, the snow and ice at the entrance and in the parking lot hadn’t been cleared properly for a property owner. We also don’t think the cleaning fee for the garbage we forgot to take out was fair. It was the first time we’d been charged for that, and final cleaning is already included in the fairly ambitious rental price.
