The balconies, the bread, and all the smiles were particular favorites. We also enjoyed the inn, rooms, and food, and the location is good. The Schmalhofer family and team are so welcoming. Even arriving around 11 pm, I found the host waiting to hand me my room key. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. Breakfast was excellent, with eggs cooked how you like them plus ham, cheese, salami, jams, and a few other extras. It seemed complimentary to me, unlike the extra €20 hotels often charge. It was one of my best stays, even though I was there for only one night. If I'm in the area again, hopefully I can stay here.

We first came here about 22-23 years ago, and every visit since has been a good experience. Now that we're older, we come several times a year, and it's always a pleasure. The family running the landgasthof are so nice and make you feel welcome. They speak English well as well as German, and if you need help, just ask. The houses are well cared for, and the rooms are comfortable and clean everywhere. There's even a lift to the second floor. The restaurant serves fantastic food, especially from Bayern, alongside other choices, and breakfast has everything you'd want and much more. Prices are normal, which is why locals come here too. There's a large, safe parking area close to the landgasthof. We stop here every time we're passing through, and have plenty of reasons to return.
