Hotel La Quinta - adults only

The host was amazing, and thanks for staying up late to let us in. We had huge, comfortable rooms, a lovely breakfast selection, and could come and go freely all day. It was a quiet, relaxing place for summer. I imagine it gets busy in winter.

The owner, who runs the house herself, is a real gem at hospitality. From the start of our stay right through to the last few minutes, everything felt top-notch. I can hardly remember another hotel where there were so many pleasant surprises and hardly a small thing to reconsider. With only a small number of rooms, this place feels like a lush, private villa, even though it sits almost in the middle of the little village center. It’s one of the most welcoming, charming houses I’ve ever been lucky enough to stay in, and the location is incredible too. If you’re around the southern Schwarzwald, I’d make the extra trip to stay here. In fact, I’ve already booked another visit for less than a month from now. I couldn’t resist the comfort!

Breakfast was more than enough for a great start to the day, and you can head straight out for a fantastic hike from the hotel. We spontaneously booked the Panorama Suite for the weekend, and the room was fantastic, with a breathtaking view from our own conservatory. That conservatory was so inviting, perfect for a good book or a great movie on its own TV. A wonderful little wellness hotel, and a huge thank you to our lovely hostess for a great long weekend. We’d happily come back ♡

We’d happily stay again. The hostess was so lovely, and the large room was very clean. The bathroom was clean too, with stylish furnishings. Breakfast was delicious and prepared with care when requested.
