Apartment Lollo

We were even invited to lend a hand with the grape harvest, which was a wonderful experience and so much fun. Thanks again, Esther. We had four very restful days in a spacious apartment that’s central but still nicely quiet. Everything was very clean, and the place mixes careful renovations with original period furniture and parts of the building. The hosts were fantastic, and we’ll definitely return.

Enkirch is picturesque and makes a lovely base for trips to all sorts of beautiful places. You really should hike the Moselsteig trail. There are plenty of restaurants close by, and on the street right next door we found a butcher, bakery, organic food shop, and wine store. We didn’t need anything else. Our hostess greeted us warmly and cheerfully, then sent us off just as pleasantly. Getting the key and seeing the apartment was easy. The place has a thoughtful, practical mix of old and new, with huge rooms and comfortable beds. From the balcony, trees frame a view of the Moselle, where you can watch the boats pass. A big thank you to the hostess. We’d happily recommend the apartment! :-)

We slept really well even during the heatwave, despite there being no air conditioning. The place felt wonderfully private, and the town is lovely. The owner was friendly and helpful.
