Breakfast was fresh, generous, and had plenty of choice, including vegan options. The garden is a lovely place to sit right in front of the Moesel, and the patio and square look inviting for a quiet glass of wine with a book. It’s a historic building with cozy, comfortable rooms. We got a great welcome, and our room was clean and nicely decorated. Definitely recommendable!

The German-style breakfast in the cafe was excellent, and our Wellington room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. It got a little cold overnight, so if it’s not a warm summer, ask for extra duvets when you arrive. We booked by phone just a couple of hours before getting there, for one night while visiting a local vineyard. The B&B has a beautiful setting, with a pleasant yard, garden, and cafe. Everything in town is within walking distance, and parking nearby was easy. Rita & Rudolf Trossen's vineyard is across the river, and they make kick-ass ecological wine!

The main building feels like it belongs in a fairytale and dates back to the 14th century. The accommodation rooms are in a separate building from 1774, recently renovated with modern bathrooms. The host was very friendly, and there’s interesting art on display too. Highly recommended.
