Gästehaus an der Moseltherme

I’ve stayed at this guesthouse twice, and the quality of the rooms inside is much better than its exterior suggests. My most recent stay was in a large apartment, with a spacious bedroom, sitting room, and kitchen, and lots of room for me and my bags. It was quiet and private, a good place to relax. The kitchen had a big table with seats for six, and I used the coffee machine and toaster at breakfast. The bed was wide and comfortable. I liked the little bedside lamps in the evening, and there was also a desk and chair, a large wardrobe, plenty of towels, and a blanket in the wardrobe for colder weather. One fun detail was the curtain on the sloping roof window. Since the roof narrows down, the window is triangular, and the curtain slides to cover it. It was fun to open and close. This apartment was a great size, much better than a hotel room. You’d need an expensive large hotel suite to get something similar. There was also a voucher for a swimming pool on the table for me to use.

John and Tina are a lovely, caring couple who make this a warm and cozy place to stay in beautiful surroundings. The pension is excellent, the rooms are nice and clean, and breakfast is good too. The area is great for hiking and motorcycle enthusiasts. 5/5 stars.

We loved our ground-floor apartment. It was comfortable and clean, and communication with the host was good.

The owners gave us nice family-style service at this traditional family pension hotel. It’s close to lots of walking paths in the nearby vineyards.
