Haus _Sonneneck_ 2 Fewo

We stayed for two weeks with two adults and children, but the house felt much too cramped for four. Even basic things were undersized: the fridge, the indoor and outdoor table and chairs, the sofa, and the 1.40 m double bed. There wasn't enough cutlery or kitchenware, and what was there was old and in poor condition. The children's mattresses were completely worn out, which I found unacceptable. The place also lacked any cozy, homey feel, so we didn't feel comfortable. We've stayed in much better places and can't recommend this one. The house itself is fairly new, in a quiet, attractive spot in a small settlement at the entrance to Karlshagen/Trasseheide. It has two apartments, each intended for four people, and the owner lives two houses away, which some guests may or may not like. The furnishings are very basic and practical. The garden looks much bigger and nicer in the photos. It was clean when we arrived, but the advertised starter items, including soap and dishwasher tablets, weren't provided. There was no Wi-Fi, which should really be standard these days.
