The Schloß-Hotel Petry is a family business and is now run by the Bell family in the third generation. The generously designed complex of our hotel with 70 rooms consists of three connected houses and our country house, each of which has its own style and individual furnishings. Our house offers you many different options for living: Elegant in the Kohlbecher, modern and exclusive in the Superior, small, cozy and elegant in the Castle or chic and stylish in the country house “Unter den Weinbergen” (located 328 ft behind the main house). We stopped for 30 minutes before my train and had a delicious espresso macchiato with cheese and bread. My friend got hot chocolate and banana cake, which he said was delicious. The service was great and really friendly, and the food was amazing. A bit expensive, but a good experience overall.

We came across this lovely hotel and restaurant by chance while walking, stopped for lunch, then decided to ask for a room. We had dinner there too, and everything was super nice. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the restaurant was excellent. The staff were really nice. The family also owns a vineyard, and their delicious wine is served at the restaurant.

We were lucky to get a room with a gorgeous balcony view over the Mosel river and the surrounding village. There’s also a large locked garage for bikes. The hotel is a short train hop from Cochem and THE place to be in this town. The large dining room seemed to be hosting the whole area when we were there. Highly recommend.

The wellness area was clean and inviting after a day of sightseeing an der Mösel, and the location is convenient, just a few steps across from the train station Treis Karden. Breakfast and the restaurant menu were delicious, served in an elegant setting. Service was excellent and friendly. A beautifully preserved family hotel with a mix of vintage and modern feel. High standards price.

We were there around Easter, 2017, and the train station is conveniently close. The food was excellent, and the breakfast buffet was the best I had in Germany. Staff were courteous and helpful, and the wifi was good. The four Manor houses have quiet, beautiful rooms filled with art and lovely furnishings.
