The location was peaceful, with shopping close by and parking just outside or nearby. The apartment was very clean, modern, and had everything we needed. There was a complimentary breakfast in the fridge, plus water, beer, and wine, and coffee and tea were available too. Communication was excellent, and the landlord was very friendly. Perfect!

The location and amenities were good, which is why I booked after reading the positive reviews. But room 2 smelled strongly of chlorine when we arrived, and the mattress on the side away from the window is badly worn. You really notice it. Such a shame, I can’t recommend it.

I was told the landlord could control access to the property and that I had to leave within 60 minutes, when the access code would be deactivated. When I tried to explain that, at 70 years old, I hadn’t had time to get ready that morning, the landlord ignored me and ended the call. I had to throw my unwashed clothes into my bags in a panic and find somewhere else to stay. Don’t complain, or you’ll be kicked out! This started after I raised some issues with the landlord and asked for them to be fixed. The apartment was very dirty, including the toilet, and there were toothpaste splatters on the bathroom mirror. The kettle and toaster were extremely dirty, and the ceramic cooktop was caked with grime. There was mold and dirt in the wardrobe, no trouser hangers, and the six hangers there were sticky. The TV couldn’t be used, and there was no instruction manual. The landlord called and insulted me, asking how I could think I was complaining and saying I was out of touch with reality. There was no chance to discuss any help with the landlord. No complaints allowed, or I’d be evicted.

I slept incredibly well here, better than I usually do. The place was beautifully furnished and very well maintained, with everything provided, even a motion-sensor nightlight in the bathroom. Highly recommended. 👍
