We stayed at Astoria hotel on our way back to France. The rooms were a decent size, clean, and beautiful, and all the attractions are within walking distance. The owners were generous and even gave us some snacks for the return trip. The breakfast was so good, and the host was lovely.

We were welcomed with a glass of whichever beverage we wanted, a nice touch. The rooms were small, but just right for what we needed. Breakfast was included, delicious, and clearly prepared with attention to detail. We really enjoyed our two days visiting Trier, especially being able to walk to the market place for sightseeing. We’d definitely recommend it.

This cute, family-run hotel has a Victorian feel, and the breakfast was surprisingly nice. It’s close to Trier’s historic center, with nearby parking for €10 for the weekend. Late check-in is possible using the night bell. Prices were good, and I liked the fairytale-like interior, though it’s dated. We didn’t sleep very well because the bed squeaked so loudly it woke us whenever we turned over. The shower also had low water pressure. The champagne breakfast was €7 per person.

The hotel felt cozy and homely, and the location is very good, within walking distance of the market square and Porta Nigra. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we had some good conversations. Breakfast was good and everything was very clean. Definitely a recommended place to stay.

Breakfast was good, and the location worked well. The room had decent space, but the bed was really uncomfortable. We also found out they only take Maestro cards, so we had to go find an ATM to get cash.
