The location works well for the city, with the centre just a short walk away. Parking was good, the staff friendly, and breakfast good too. A lovely hotel.

Customer service made our long weekend especially nice. Everyone was kind, professional, polite, helpful, and caring, particularly the reception team. I've never been this impressed by hotel service before. The rooms have an old-fashioned look, but they were clean and well kept, and the breakfast buffet helped make up for the style. I'd definitely recommend staying here for the wonderful service. Many thanks, especially to Christian, for his professionalism.

The breakfast room was clean and pleasant, with a good standard buffet of fresh ingredients. My one gripe is that there's no air conditioning there. It was so hot after breakfast that I had to change my shirt. My room suited me fine, and the rest of the hotel was very nice. Wi-Fi gave me trouble on my laptop, but worked like a charm on my phone. It's in a prime spot close to town. Walking from the hotel across the city centre to Porta Nigra takes 30 minutes, handy for exploring and coming back to rest. Staff were very friendly and helpful, speaking German, English, and French. I stayed two nights. At check-in they asked whether I wanted cleaning during my stay; if not, they give you a voucher for a bottle of wine, sekt, or sparkling wine, which I thought was a nice thank-you. I'd book again to see Trier, preferably when it's a bit cooler.

For a Trier city break, the location is good. The rooms are clean and spacious.
