Our family room worked perfectly: a double bed and twin beds in an adjoining room. Breakfast was plentiful, and the host made us feel very welcome. It's a small, comfortable, clean hotel. Although it's outside Trier itself, getting into the city from the hotel was very easy.

The view is beautiful, and the hotel is spotless and welcoming. Its name is a clue: it sits up on a mountain, with little entertainment nearby. We found Zur Kanzel about a 10-minute walk away, and it was a very good restaurant, though booking ahead is a good idea. The parking garage was a big help for us on motorcycles. Rooms are simple but perfectly fine for a short stay, and breakfast was very good.

We were only there for a night this summer while away for our studies, and left very pleased. It was handy to park the car in the garage, and the hosts were really friendly. Our room was clean and breakfast was delicious.
