The rooms are basic but fine, and there was space inside for our bikes, which was a definite plus. We got a warm welcome and the restaurant service was good, a nice way to end the day after some beautiful motorcycle trips. It worked well for two days. Breakfast could use more variety, perhaps with some extra fruit and vegetables.

I only stayed two nights, but I've already decided to come back for a much longer visit. The food at the superb restaurant was beautifully cooked and presented, and I believe the chef is also the owner. The owners are great, and the staff and local people were friendly and welcoming. My room was comfortable, with an en-suite bathroom and cable TV that had some English-speaking channels and live sports. The hotel is nicely located, with free WiFi and parking. Highly recommended.

The staff's rude behavior was the worst part. They seemed not to understand what service or guests mean. The rooms were dirty, the laundry wasn't clean, and rooms on the second floor smelled of cigarette smoke. This is the worst, lowest-quality hotel I have visited so far in Germany. I personally wouldn't recommend it unless you want to spoil your trip or stay.

A garage is available to lock up your bike, and there are some nice restaurants and a very good bicycle repair shop within walking distance. My room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast buffet was great. I'd definitely recommend it to people traveling by bicycle or motorcycle.
