The mushroom sauce with my pork medallions and asparagus was so good. We had our two young kids with us on a busy night, and the staff were patient, understanding, and as quick as they could be. Great wine and fantastic service, too.

We came across this place while passing through Trittenheim, and we’ll definitely return. There’s a large parking lot behind the restaurant, and the building makes an impression with its big entrance doors and wine display just inside. The outdoor seating area is spacious; we were told to go round back, where someone would meet us and help find a table. The welcome was friendly, and the menu had a lot to choose from, including a few Asian dishes. Our wine arrived quickly after ordering, and the food followed after a short wait. My tagliatelle came with plump shrimp, a mild pesto, and delicious tomato sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly medium and topped with fried onions. We enjoyed both dishes and the very friendly service.

The wine was good, but the food was only average. The children’s meal was disappointing and didn’t seem freshly made.

This is one of our favourite places on the Mosel. The food is great, and the wines are amazing for such reasonable prices. You can pay by card for everything, and dogs are allowed on the terrace.
