Those freshly baked morning Semmeln were the best, and the whole place has a charming rustic feel. They were so communicative, welcoming, and accommodating with our group, including the vegans and vegetarians and even a non-German speaker :D

Even on their day off, the owner managed to put together a generous, incredibly tasty breakfast with homemade jam and a perfectly cooked fried egg. That breakfast deserves six stars. It’s a very quiet, family-run hotel.

We stayed for just three nights with a group, and the huge selection made it hard to choose. Antje's cooking is wonderfully delicious, and her own products are well worth recommending. It’s a super-nice family hotel, and they looked after and catered for our group excellently.

The regional products were fantastic, and the food at the Schmankerl restaurant was excellent. Antje makes creative, contemporary use of whatever comes from her garden. She’s the heart and soul of the place, and we’re so grateful for the warm welcome. The holiday apartment was a wonderful place to stay.

This family-run place has been a favorite of several generations of my husband’s family for many years. The rooms are cozy and atmospheric, and the service is friendly and warm. Food is always delicious, portions are generous, and prices are fair.
