Hotel Alte Krone

The sheets had black spots, dried liquid marks, and hair on them. They were in such unacceptable condition that we couldn’t use the beds for a normal night’s sleep, so we had to cover the dirt with our clothes.

There’s a good old restaurant downstairs, so you don’t have to hunt around for somewhere to have a small dinner. The staff were very friendly, and the room was spotlessly clean and modernized, though quite small, like rooms from the 50s or 60s. Absolutely worth the money.

It wasn’t the worst place, but don’t go expecting anything fancy or professional. The workers rarely smile and seem to do the bare minimum for your comfort. I’d pay 10 more euros for a proper hotel.

I called three days before arriving and booked one night. They said everything was fine, the reservation was in place, and they were expecting me. When I got there, there was no booking in my name, and the gentleman had no idea what was going on. This hotel’s system is dysfunctional and doesn’t respect its customers. I don’t recommend it.
