Koncept Hotel Neue Horizonte

This is a fully self check-in hotel, which we hadn’t expected. Getting in wasn’t smooth: the kiosk machine had a problem, so we had to call the service center to get the room key. After that, everything was fine. The rooms have small kitchens, which is useful for a longer stay. Tableware is available on B1, where you can also buy some goods and drinks from a self-service area.

I was really surprised by how good the experience was. The hotel is very clean, everything feels new and ecological, and the rooms are quiet with a perfect atmosphere for resting. Checking in yourself is easy, and there’s no check-out process. We’ll absolutely come back. Highly recommended!

The room was clean, but the place oddly felt like an expensive student dorm. There’s no reception, and while the room had lots of storage and a kitchen, with washing machines in the basement, it seems better set up for longer stays. For a short visit I missed little complimentary touches, like coffee and tea facilities. I know the larger rooms have coffee machines, but I still wanted the option to buy coffee from the kiosk downstairs. The double bed in the Standard Double Room was too small for us, a couple with a baby. Looking back, we should have booked at least a Superior Double Room. I’d give the stay 3.5 stars if I could.

The rooms are new and I really liked mine. Everything is functional, and the digital setup works perfectly. I also appreciate how sustainable the hotel is and that it supports good causes wherever it can. If you're here for a few days, stop by the cellar kiosk when you arrive and pick up cups, creamer, glasses, and whatever else you need. You can check out the other extras there too. The neighborhood feels a little odd, with a large construction site across from a residential area. Still, town is easy to reach by public transport or car. A bike works too, if you're up for the hills.
