Hotel Krone

The hotel is within walking distance of the Old Town, restaurants, and Castle, and private parking gives direct access to the installations. It’s beautifully decorated, with spacious, very clean rooms, an adjacent restaurant, and an excellent breakfast. The staff were lovely and very friendly. They also handled the needs of a guest requiring special care with great professionalism.

Right in the heart of the city, with spacious, clean rooms and a comfortable bed. There’s a small gym and relax center, too. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was very good.

We come back about every other month, and the staff have always done their best to help with our requests. They’re extremely helpful and don’t seem put off by speaking English. We also always eat at Ludwig’s, which has been one of the best and most consistent meals on our regular visits. Highly recommend.

Five stars, five stars, five stars! Hotel Krone never disappoints. I was lucky to get a summer deal in mid-August 2025 while traveling solo. I paid a little more than I usually do, but it was worth it, especially for the single room in the corner with a wonderful view of the Neckarbrucke and bridge. Tuebingen has only a few hotels with A/C, as far as I know, and I was so grateful to have it. The decor, rooms, food, reception, and beauty of the place were all lovely. The coffee machine and creamer made the room feel like home. Sandra at the night reception was particularly kind, though I believe she doesn’t normally work the front desk. Kim was professional and gave me a boxed breakfast since I was leaving the evening before. Funny enough, my own name is both Sandra and Kim, which was a fun little tidbit. The breakfast box was such a thoughtful treat, with muesli, cheeses and meats, rolls, fruit, and oj. Danke noch Mal Hotel Krone. See you again soon, maybe next summer!
