The staff were very helpful, and prices are reasonable for a tourist area, though far too high for this property. The hotel is a few blocks from Tuttlingen’s pedestrian-only downtown, but the traffic on the street outside was loud enough to affect my sleep. There’s also a bus stop right out front, adding to the noise. The carpet smelled old, the furniture was worn, and there was more like that.

Hotel Schlack has a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, and the room was impeccably clean. Wi-Fi and laundry services are free. It’s on the main street, which carries on as a promenade toward the town center. The hotel is 100m from the beautiful Danube and nearby park, and a 10-minute walk from the train station.

This was heavily overpriced. The room furniture was really old, and the bathroom was among the worst I’ve experienced. The advertised free Wi-Fi didn’t work, and it still hadn’t been fixed after I told the staff. Breakfast was disappointing too, and I wouldn’t order the coffee. Try Hotel Charlie...

The rooms were dirty, and the furniture was old and ugly. Breakfast wasn’t worth the price either, with dry bread and old fruit. Horrible. Better find somewhere else!

It’s an old property converted into a hotel, close to shops and places to eat. The rooms are small, hostel-like, and lack basic amenities. There are no English-language TV channels, and breakfast doesn’t offer anything new.
