Hotel Alpenblick Garni

The fresh breakfasts were always tasty, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The location suited us just right, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The rooms and balcony are a little worn, though, and the mattresses were very firm. There are only a limited number of parking spaces at the hotel. The entrance isn't wheelchair accessible, and the pool wasn't heated during our trip in late September.

Our stay at Alpenblick Hotel wasn't enjoyable, and the price didn't match what we got. I'd rate it two stars at most, not three, and can't understand the good reviews. The rooms are small and very basic, with no wifi, and the TV is a joke, sometimes even dirty. Breakfast offers too little choice. There are few outdoor parking spaces, and you have to climb stairs, which is hard with a stroller. The center is a little over a kilometer away.

The rooftop terrace and the upper rooms look out over Lake Constance, and the hotel has a really charming feel in a great spot. Breakfast was straightforward but enough, with especially tasty fruit. The pool was very cold, though I still enjoyed it. The room had quite a few bugs, and the walls were marked up with stains and holes and could use some attention.

The staff were warm and attentive throughout, always happy to help with anything while giving me space. I felt at ease from the moment I arrived. Check-in was such a welcoming start to a perfect stay.
