The room was clean and spacious, and the location was great, but I still didn't have a good stay. I was told when booking that the bike garage closed overnight and opened in the morning. In practice, anyone coming from the nearby square could get into the garage at the back, and hotel staff couldn't see it. There was nothing inside to lock bikes to, and although a sign mentioned CCTV, I don't think that does much when reception is unmanned most of the time. Reception was often empty, even during the hours listed as staffed. With a self check-in place, I'd expect a way to page someone or a door code. Instead, there were two phone numbers: one never worked, and the other usually rang with no answer. We were told to leave the physical key in the letterbox at checkout. After taking our bikes around, we found the front door had locked behind us and couldn't get back in to collect our luggage. Luckily I still had those numbers on my phone, and staff eventually opened the door remotely.

The mattress was really uncomfortable, like it had a hole in the middle. The hotel is a good place for a short stay in the city centre, with the harbor, restaurants, and train and bus station all nearby. It does feel a bit dated, and parts of the bathroom need refurbishing.

The room was tiny, but the location made up for it. It's a gorgeous spot, just one street back from the lake and promenade, and definitely worth the money. Check-in was a little complicated, though luckily there was an on-site manager.

Right by the bus station, and very clean, with a comfortable bed, hot water and super clean towels. The bathroom wasn't practical: shower water spilled out several times, and the WC had a slight bad smell. I'd also have liked a warmer, more personal connection with the customers.

The location was great, just two minutes from the promenade on Lake Constance. We stayed for a week with six people, a two-year-old child and two dogs. The fourth-floor apartment was very big, with enough space for everyone, though having only one bathroom was a problem for six people. There were two toilets. We paid €2700,- in total. Parking is why I can't give it five stars. Parkhouse West or Post are 5-7 minutes away on foot, and Post is constantly full, so I wouldn't recommend it. Parking costs €70,- for seven days, but there's nowhere to stop on arrival and unload luggage. The hotel should have at least two temporary spaces out front for this. There's room without blocking the road, but nearby residents call the police, who then call the hotel to have cars moved. That's ridiculous. Everyone staying in Überlingen pays a "Kurtax" of €42,- per person, I think, so the town should make it easier for visitors to enjoy their stay.
