We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast was super. Our two-bed apartment was spacious and modern, with a lovely large balcony. The bike racks near the apartments aren't covered, but they're in a private area rather than a public one. After reading Storchen's reply, I want to clarify that we chose the racks closest to our apartment so it would be easier to load and unload our panniers. The bikes were in a private area and felt quite safe. The weather was lovely, we had our own locks, and the lack of cover didn't bother us. I didn't mean any criticism at all.

The room/apartment was wonderful, and New Year was fantastic for the whole family. We enjoyed the wellness facilities while our son had the best time at the hexenhüsli for kids. There was a torch walk, fireworks, and a superb dinner, with friendly staff too. Just perfect!

The homemade Storchenpommes, those flat fries, were really good. Even with a crowd queuing outside, the service stayed friendly and efficient: we were served with hardly any wait, got our drinks promptly, and the food came in about 20 minutes. There was a nice moment when a young waiter dropped a tray, spilling drinks and breaking several glasses. The owner came over to help, reassured him that it happens to everyone, and started cleaning up. It made for a very good atmosphere. One of many good restaurants around Lake Constance, and I can recommend dinner here.
