We found the whole apartment very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Four of us stayed in Hof Geiger's upper apartment, "Sonnenhut," which felt relatively new, with high-quality materials. Even on the top floor it stayed pleasantly cool, and there are roller shutters throughout. With the lake so close, mosquito nets would be a nice addition. The huge covered balcony has a lake view, as do other rooms. The lake is just across the road, then a few meters down an embankment, with stairs provided. The harbor and sights in Unteruhldingen are only a few minutes away on foot. Mainau Island is directly opposite, Birnau Island is close by, and Meersburg and Überlingen, the two towns we liked best, are nearby too. The bus stop is a 3-5 minute walk away, and there's a parking space with the apartment. The kitchen was fully equipped and opened onto a bright dining and living area with lake views and beautiful sunsets. The bright bathroom and its huge shower were another highlight. We'd love to come back!!
