Gästehaus Bartholomäus

We’ve been here three times now, and everything is still so well kept. The Irlinger family are incredibly friendly, and they’ll accommodate whatever you need at breakfast. They also have great recommendations if you’re looking for scenic hikes. With the sauna and fitness room downstairs, it’s easy to unwind, and our holidays in Oberwössen have been very relaxing.

Our e-bikes had secure parking and racks in the garage, which was very useful. The rooms were clean, breakfast was consistently plentiful and good, and we were welcomed warmly and looked after very well. We’ll be back! 👍

**Update, August 2020:** I came back recently for a short break with hiking and time to relax. Haus Bartholomäus was just as I remembered it: the hosts were exceptionally helpful and friendly, almost like family, and the house was spotless and very well cared for. The prices are great for what you get. Even with the pandemic, I had a lovely holiday. The hosts handled the COVID-19 rules well, and I felt safe without the measures getting in the way too much. **Earlier review:** I always enjoy staying here. The hosts are warm and laid-back, so it’s easy to feel at home straight away. They’re happy to share ideas for planning your holiday if you’d like. There’s a lovely wellness area with a sauna, and a cozy cellar bar right next to it. The spacious, clean rooms have a modern style that still feels local, and the prices are reasonable. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, with something for everyone. The garden is very well kept, with sun loungers and more, and there’s a fantastic mountain view right nearby. A great place in summer or winter. We’ll be back!

A pension well worth recommending! Everything was spotlessly clean, with lovely rooms and all in great shape. Breakfast was generous, with fresh rolls and whatever else you might want. The hosts were really pleasant and nice.
