Haus Gabriele

This turned out to be one of the best surprises of our vacation. We’d booked at the last minute and had no idea what to expect, but Paul was working when we arrived very late and graciously helped me, my partner, and our two kids get settled in our rooms. He went above and beyond. In the morning, a table was already set up for us in the dining hall, and breakfast was wonderful. Terrific service and experience.

The restaurant food was well prepared and good, and breakfast was plentiful too. I liked the thoughtful touch of having your name on your assigned table. The family who owns the hotel is extremely friendly, and the staff are always smiling and ready to help. Rooms are large, clean, warm from good heating, and well equipped with a safe, TV, kitchen, and fridge. We’ll definitely return.

The rooms were comfortable and spacious, breakfast was great, and the location is divine. We enjoyed our weekend very much. The hotel is cozy, and the staff, who I think are a family, were all smiling, friendly, and helpful. It was refreshing to experience so much hospitality at the hotel and around town. They were also very good with children, which made our stay comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it and would like to visit again :)

We’ve stayed at this lovely hotel at least five times, and the location is terrific for mountain hikes in summer or skiing in winter. The owners and staff couldn’t be nicer. Breakfast has lots of choices and fabulous bread, and dinner is worth staying for too. Try the terrace when the weather allows!
