The owners are friendly and happy to share local tips, including in English if your German is rusty or you have questions about nearby sights. The rooms were clean and quiet, the Wi-Fi was good, and the food was really good. I stayed here before starting at the local Uni. A few hours after checkout, they called my cell because they'd found a pair of sunglasses we'd left in the room. When I came back, they even had a hot cup of coffee ready for me. Great people!

It’s a really nice little hotel or guest house, with just six rooms. Ours were fresh and super clean, especially the bathroom, and the owner was always helpful. The food was really good, especially the Angus steaks. The experienced lady who cooked them got the taste just right, and medium rare was perfect. One thing to know: the menu says in German that food is cash only or payable with a specific card. We didn't have that card, such as Mastercard or Visa, so food had to be paid for in cash, while rooms could be paid for with Visa or Mastercard. We enjoyed our stay. 😁

The inn was charming, and the owner and his wife were very friendly. Our room and shower weren't luxurious, but everything was clean, so that was fine. The owner suggested a short walk to the cable car and fortress, where we could cross the Rhine to Koblenz and back. It worked out conveniently, since we could leave the car at the hotel. We had a lovely few days in Koblenz, a beautiful city with lots of shops and restaurants, a fortress, and a cable car over the Rhine. Back at the hotel, we all enjoyed a delicious meal. There was plenty of choice on the menu, and the owner's specialty steaks were sublime. Breakfast was ready at the agreed time the next morning, with more than enough food, and it was delicious. This Hotel Restaurant Zur Pfanne is highly recommended.
