The room was bright, modern, and welcoming, and the cleanliness was faultless. You can tell the hosts put effort into making guests comfortable. They even offered a thoughtful welcome drink, and breakfast was presented beautifully with nothing missing. The main thing to know before booking is that this double room is inside the hosts’ own home. You share the entrance, can see into their living space and onto their terrace through a glass door, and the breakfast room is part of their apartment. We felt more like we were staying in a family guest room, and it was fairly noisy. The room isn’t large and looks out at a very close outbuilding. The hosts’ dog also lives in the house, and the layout didn’t always keep him away from us. We heard him barking upstairs on our first night. There’s a small wooden terrace by the water, around 6 square meters, with two beach chairs, a little table, and two small wooden chairs. It’s very cramped. We also hadn’t realized that guests from the neighboring guesthouse could use it. Both mornings, they were on the terrace, so we couldn’t use it ourselves. The hostess said it was fine to share since there were two beach chairs, but with so little space, that felt like a real imposition. The other guests in the holiday home even have their own private terrace right beside the house. The photos make the cramped space clear, and the hosts should think about what they expect double room guests to accept. On holiday, especially in such close quarters, we want to choose for ourselves when and with whom we sit. We would have appreciated having unrestricted access to an outdoor area.

Wohltat is a small holiday home with its own garden for the tenant’s exclusive use. So the other reviews are about the neighboring property, "Auszeit am Haffufer," and don’t accurately describe this one.

I found it completely relaxing, just the right spot for a break. Great for cycling too.
