I stopped in for a quick beer, and the local brews were really nice. The food looked great and smelled even better, so I nearly stayed for dinner. I'll be back.

As a tourist, I had a very bad experience at the restaurant. The food was below par for the region, and the prices were too high for that quality. The meat was overcooked, and the kartoffel side dish was elastic. I’ve eaten it at other places before, and it shouldn’t be like that. The staff were extremely rude. I’ve never experienced this in Germany or anywhere else in Europe, and hearing what they said to colleagues in German made their attitude feel especially unacceptable. Local people seemed to be treated differently from tourists. I’d tell tourists to stay away.

The food was very nice, with large portions, and the beer garden is lovely. There’s also a smallish but nice, cozy indoor dining area. I’d recommend reserving, especially for inside. The toilets are down in the cellar, so it isn’t barrier frei. The staff were mostly attentive and friendly, and there’s a sand pit outside where children can play. Recommended.

I only visited the restaurant. The interior is traditional, and the garden is beautiful. Great bear and excellent service from the young, dedicated staff. Unfortunately, the food doesn't meet the same standard. But that's Bavaria, and it isn't their fault.
