We spent several evenings at this distinctive hotel in the heart of Landenberg’s old city, and everyone in our party had a great stay. The owner welcomed us in the rear parking lot, helped with our luggage, accommodated our early arrival, and shared useful information about the area. At breakfast we enjoyed talking with him about the town’s history and getting tips for the wider area. Our server was attentive and helpful, even with most of us not speaking German. The breakfast was great, and the hospitality was outstanding. If you want to experience the local community instead of a chain hotel, I highly recommend staying here. After reading some other reviews, I wonder if someone has confused it with another place or is trying to sabotage it. We had a GREAT stay!

My daughters and I fit comfortably in the pretty, very clean room, and the location made it easy for me to walk to my sister’s. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were so nice, helpful, and understanding about everything I had going on. What a charming little hotel. I can’t recommend it enough, and I’m sure you’ll be pleased if you book.

Parking round the back was handy, though the entrance beside the Hotel is tight and easy to miss at first. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff were helpful when needed. Breakfast was very good, with a buffet and eggs made to order. I had scrambled eggs with salmon. Right in the centre of town, it’s a great base for wandering the cobbled streets and lanes of this historic area. We visited in midwinter, when it was very quiet, but getting around and seeing the place was easy. We’d definitely stay again.

The hotel is alright, but not the owner. Based on my own experience, one of the owners seems to like kids more than he should.
