Weinhaus am Schieferfels

The whole family made it clear that looking after guests comes first. The owners have thought through every detail, and the rooms were spacious and spotless. The food was delicious, and serving it smoothly to more than 50 guests was no small job. I especially liked the suggestion that we could take items from the breakfast buffet for our excursions. The junior manager presented the excellent wine in an engaging way, and guests got to sample it. We’d love to come back.

Our class spent four days at this lovely family winery, and everything went smoothly. The rooms were excellent, the meals were wonderful, and the excursions were a great success. All 54 of us, including the bus driver, were completely satisfied. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

Staying at the Weirich family's house feels like coming home. We’ve appreciated their exceptional hospitality and care for years. This time we spent six days with our Kolping Society at the Weinhaus am Schieferfels. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We’ll see you again next year!

We were a group of 32 at the Schieferfels Wine House at the end of May for a three-day Moselle trip, Friday through Sunday. The wine house arranged everything, from the bus pick-up to a boat trip on the Moselle and tours. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We were very happy with the rooms, plentiful breakfast, and delicious dinner. The entertainer on the first night was a lot of fun, and on the second night we had a lovely wine tasting. I’d highly recommend this place for groups.
