We booked three rooms, and they were very cold. When we asked if the heating could be turned on, we were told it was already on. That was the whole response.

The paddleboat outing was lovely, and the area is great for activities, with plenty to do nearby. The waiters were very friendly too. But we were disappointed with the guesthouse and probably won't stay again. Our family spent a few days here, and while the first impression was good, a closer look changed that. There were glass shards in the room, and our child stepped on one and bled. When we told the staff, they just said, "These things happen." There wasn't even a dustpan or broom. The trash cans were emptied daily, but the place definitely isn't pet-friendly. Breakfast was basic and nothing special, while dinner was average and the choice was limited.

We only stopped in for a meal. The food was solid and fairly priced, and the service was friendly.
