Rene was great, and the service was just as good. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a nice balcony. Breakfast was amazing, and the price was good too. I'll keep coming back.

The breakfast had a great range of products, and everything at the hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff were really helpful when I needed a late check-in and waited for me, unlike some other hotels nearby that had declined my reservation. I'd make this my first choice in the area next time.

My room was number 11, a double overlooking a very quiet courtyard, and the location right downtown was hard to beat. The room was clean and quiet, and the hotel itself has a lot of charm. After a 10-hour drive from Switzerland, I appreciated the warm welcome and the helpful introduction to the facilities, nearby parks, and ways to relax. The gentleman at the front desk even came down to the basement parking to help me find my spot. I booked directly online, and if you're arriving by car, basement parking is so convenient. The car stays out of the sun and rain.

We made a short stop here on our trip with our dog, and had a lovely stay. The rooms are spacious, and the staff were attentive and very helpful the whole time. It was excellent value for money, and probably one of the best hotels we've stayed at.

Loved our time here. Dinner and breakfast were nice, and the owner Rene is a hardworking, down-to-earth gentleman who takes care of his guests. The hotel is superb, with clean, perfect bedding, big clean bathrooms, and a picturesque balcony with fresh air and a view of the old church and war memorial. Visbek is a beautiful village, and the people are great. Clean, safe, and green. I'd recommend this place.
