It's a lovely open space with lots of animals, and it seems great for families. The food was delicious. I was disappointed, though, that they didn't have the desserts listed on the menu.

The petting zoo is awesome, and the food is excellent. We love visiting the restaurant and farm, especially because the staff are so friendly.

We spent many wonderful hours with our guests at the Sunday lunch buffet and are looking forward to coming back. The menu was delicious and varied, and the waitstaff were friendly. My husband and I celebrated our 70th birthdays at the "Alten Bahnhof" (Old Train Station) in Heyerode, a cozy country inn. Many thanks to the kitchen and service staff. Helmut and Birgit Basan
