The best part of my six-night stay was spending time with Anja and Charlie Brown, Christian's dogs. I'll miss them dearly. Christian also came an hour early each day to make me a delicious breakfast. I had an amazing time here.

The authentic Spanish tapas are a must, and the menu is still excellent even though it has changed. I used to visit often during my motorcycling years, so seeing Christian again after all this time was lovely. I'd last been here about 16 years ago, and while there have been a few modern updates, the place has kept its essential character. It's a peaceful spot where guests are made to feel welcome without any fuss. Nothing to dislike, Forsthaus really is special.
