For the past three years, my family and I have come to this lovely shrimp buffet, followed its food events, and always been impressed. This year was a disappointment: the shrimp were small and tasteless, the food came late, and the buffet was very expensive. It costs €32 for each adult and €32 for a nine year old child, plus €5 for water. That's too much for children, though the price is okay for adults.

We loved the peaceful atmosphere and thought it was a great place. Everything was perfect except the food took quite a while to come out when we'd ordered dinner for our company of about 40 people. I don't think that would be a problem for individuals or families, but it might be for a company.

Breakfast was excellent, and the Wi-Fi worked okay. I only had a short stay, arriving late and leaving early, but the traditional rooms felt dated. I could also hear a lot more from the rooms above and below than I wanted.

The food was very good, and the innkeeper and staff were friendly. It was an above average hotel, and I’d definitely book here again if I return to the area.

The hotel sits in lovely natural surroundings, but our overnight stay coincided with a party we hadn’t been told about in advance. The loud music went on until 2 a.m., so there was no chance to relax.
