The restaurant is right in the center of Waldkirchen, beside the typical Bavarian village maypole. We enjoyed the cold drinks selection and the interesting juices. My son had the melon juice and really liked it. Our burgers were tasty, and the caramelized onions stood out, better than others I've tried. The onion strips were crunchy, not oily or overdone. The kids' schnitzel was large, and the custom salad system was very nice. Service was quick and good, perhaps because it was a quiet Sunday afternoon. The restrooms were spacious, spotless, and neatly decorated with wood, stone, and fun posters.

We stumbled across this place and were glad we did. It cost a little more than we'd planned, but it was worth it. The recent refurbishment was done to a very high standard, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The owner and staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. We also ate at the restaurant one evening, and the food was very good. Would definitely recommend it.
