The location is peaceful, up on the mountain with lovely views and no traffic noise. Step outside and you're straight into forests and meadows, with plenty of chances to explore. The Bavarian Forest has options for nature lovers, hikers, bikers, and anyone wanting an educational holiday. We like biking to the bakery in the morning, or driving the short distance if we're not feeling energetic. In the evening, a walk of about 2.5 km through the woods takes us to our favourite local inn, "Zur Sonnenalm," for authentic Bavarian cuisine. The Feltesse family offer three beautiful, comfortable apartments, each with its own character and charm. They're lovingly furnished, clean, well-maintained, and have everything you could need. They're especially good for family holidays with children and/or dogs. My husband and I have become regular guests, and we're looking forward to our fourth holiday in a row in June, in tiny Oberfrauenwald. This time Grandma is coming along, and of course our dog Charly too! :-D
