Hotel Zrenner was quaint and clean, with the character of an older building. You have to respect the history of the town and its buildings. My husband's family comes from this beautiful little town, known for its basilica. Gabi makes an excellent breakfast with espresso. ❤️

The ideal location is quiet but still central, making it easy to explore Waldsassen and its famous basilica or take a relaxing walk in nature. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished, and breakfast was fresh, varied, and carefully prepared. From the moment we arrived at Hotel Zrenner in Waldsassen, the welcoming atmosphere was clear. The staff are attentive and so friendly, always keen to help, and we felt at home right away. It's a lovely place to relax, with great service and delicious food. I'll definitely return. Thank you.

I had a great night here on my hiking trip. The hotel is in a beautiful spot in the center of Waldsassen's old town, close to the collegiate church, yet my room was pleasantly quiet. It suited my needs as a hiker perfectly. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The hostess and staff clearly care about their work. They were attentive and happy to chat, if you wanted. The inviting breakfast room also works as a café during the day. Lunch and dinner aren't served, but there are several places an easy walk away. Hospitality is clearly a priority here, and I'd highly recommend the hotel.
