The staff were fairly friendly, and that’s mostly why I’m giving three stars. It’s absurd that the person at reception spoke only German. I think at least basic English should be required at such a large hotel. Our check-in took 20 minutes for that reason. The room was clean, though some amenities were broken or poorly maintained. The location is okay, on a main road, and about a 10-minute walk from Tiengen city center.

Breakfast was good and had everything I needed, and the staff were very friendly 😉. The room was clean, functionally furnished, and the single bed was fine. There was a mini-fridge too. It got warm inside during the hot weather, and opening the windows during the day or late evening wasn’t really possible because the hotel is beside a roundabout. For work, though, the room was perfectly adequate.

The hotel is in a good, central location, and the staff were very friendly. My husband and I found the rooms spacious and very clean. We’d highly recommend staying here 🙂.

We ended up at Europa Hotel at short notice because of water damage, and I completely disagree with the negative reviews. The value for money is unbeatable. Whenever we asked for something, whether cutlery, dishes, or fresh towels, it was taken care of within 10 minutes. We never felt like we were a bother. The owner is an incredibly friendly woman, and the maintenance man does a fantastic job. We highly recommend it. Follow the rules and don’t smoke in the room, and you’ll have a wonderful time with the very friendly staff!
