Inside, it has a snug, quaint feel, and outside there's room to sit while the kids play in the garden. The homemade cakes and tarts are delicious, and the café opens on the first Sunday of each month.

You can rent the rooms for your own events, or stay in the comfortably furnished holiday apartment in the courtyard and enjoy the place's lovely atmosphere. Brunotteschen Hof also has more details about the farm, the venue and upcoming events on its website. This place feels like a real gem, with events held on the farm throughout the year. The lovingly restored building still has a sense of its past, and the oldest half-timbered farmhouse in southern Lower Saxony, preserved in its original form, is definitely worth visiting.
