Pension Christ

At €79 for a night without breakfast, this was far too expensive. The room was okay for one night, but if you're expecting something decent, forget it. There are much better options. The house didn't look welcoming when we arrived, and nobody from reception or the owners was there, despite check-in being advertised between 3 pm and 6 pm. We had to call out. An older gentleman eventually gave us the key; he seemed nice, but that was the end of the good parts. The room was very dated, with cobwebs everywhere, no TV, soap that looked used, hardly any toilet paper, and trash in the bin. :(

I travel a lot, and I won't recommend this place, though that's something I usually like to do. No photos from me. Sorry to the operators, and here's to better things. We'd booked one night, and the place didn't look inviting when we arrived. An older gentleman greeted us, then showed us the room, which was shockingly bare. The bathroom was okay, but there were spiders in the shower and cobwebs on the door frame. No TV, no kettle or hairdryer, and no blinds. Wi-Fi details came later, and I couldn't tell whether it would work. There was lovely sunshine in the morning, but once we opened the window, the view wasn't great: everything was unkempt and overgrown. Parking was in the yard or right in front of the window, and there was no lighting. For €79, I call that a rip-off. In the off-season, €39 would have been the most I'd pay. They're making little money here.

The walls let sound through, the room was full of cobwebs, and there was neither Wi-Fi nor a TV. The online listing is practically a lie. The only good part was the nice gentleman who welcomed us and made the beds.

No breakfast, service, heating, TV, or Wi-Fi.
