They even had a bed and bowls ready in the room for our dog, then brought a treat for her at breakfast. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a thoughtful, typically German hotel, with a clean, comfortable room. The location is great, about a 10-minute walk to the center of Wangen i.A. and five minutes from fields where you can walk the dog. I’d give it six stars if I could!

We got to check in early thanks to the owners’ kind hospitality, which meant we could rest after our red-eye flight before heading out that afternoon and evening. For any special check-in arrangements, I’d suggest getting in touch ahead of time. It was a lovely stay in an authentic German house.

A great example of a typical family-run German guesthouse: clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. There’s a parking garage, and you can check yourself in any time of day or night at the automated kiosk by the entrance. The old town is a 10-minute walk away.

The room was spacious and clean, nothing special, but good for a business trip. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. There are parking spaces, including indoor parking, and the self-check-in machine worked well for me. It’s not far from the historic city center. I just missed having a fridge in the room.

We’d like to come back another time. It’s a very nice, quiet little hotel, and the staff provide exceptionally good service. The hotel breakfast is good and delicious, too.
