It was okay.

The location is hard to beat, and together with Friesenjung (see separate review), it made for a fantastic stay. We spent a week in apartment 1.23 and would happily recommend it. The place is stylish and modern, with great amenities and a unique view. There’s a useful starter set of supplies for self-catering, though we didn’t use it. Booking and payment were easy, and the price felt fair. The thick walls kept things quiet. Dogs are welcome in many apartments, along with their owners, and guests range from older couples to young families, with apartments to suit them. The only catch is that other people want to come too, so book early.

We just spent another lovely 12 days with you. The weather wasn’t quite perfect, but we felt right at home, as we always do. And the food at Friesenjung is simply superb! 👍 It’s hard to think of a better place to spend a holiday. The aparthotel is clean and well equipped, and everyone is so friendly. We’ve been coming for years, with next year already booked. We felt just as comfortable here in 2024 and booked again for 2025. We’re very happy with the cleanliness and service. The view is better than at the Gerken, and the rooms and bathroom are nicer too. It’s a lovely apartment in a great location, with evening sun. We stayed on the 1st floor, 16th floor. It’s a shame dogs can’t go straight onto the beach. That’s just how it is, though I think it would be fine if they were kept on a leash.
