The hotel is large and beautiful, right in front of the north beach, with lovely views. Our suite was in good condition and very nice, and breakfast was good quality with enough choice. Service was efficient and straightforward, with a few very pleasant interactions. But some front desk staff were useless. They acted arrogantly and disrespectfully, showed no desire to help or offer customer service, and gave us incorrect, contradictory information. They even smiled at each other nastily while we were standing there. Absolutely unacceptable.

Our suite had comfortable beds and views of the historic lighthouse and the Wadden Sea, with a side view of the North Sea. The restaurant also looks out over the beach, and the evening meals were superb. Breakfast was among the best buffets we've had, with delicious fresh fruit and excellent coffee. The hotel is right on the beach, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We're looking forward to coming back.
